When you register to play, you will be awarded 2 Green birds and 150 +30 silver coins to get you started. You also get a Daily Coin Bonus (every 12 hours). This will give you anywhere between 10 to 100 silver coins. It is best to take advantage of this bonus at least for the first few weeks of playing as this will generate you coins to buy enough birds to get you well underway and once you havve enough birds, you will be able to generate enough from the eggs to start buying more birds regularly. It can look like a really slow process to begin with but it really is pretty quick at escalating once you get over the first few weeks and get yourself a substantial amount of eggs each hour.
There is also the option of putting your own money into the game which will buy you as many coins as you want and this method can be used as a straight forward investment. Typically, you get back what you invest in around 3 months and afterwards its all profit.
